HB Foods started in 2014 with a simple idea. We wanted to make it easier for European buyers to source premium Basmati rice from trusted Asian origins. Our base in Italy gave us a local presence. Our direct relationships at origin gave us the sourcing depth to back it up.
We operate through daughter companies, including Mano Enterprises and Rohan Dealers. Together, they support procurement, quality checks and logistics across all our categories. One team. One standard. One point of contact.
Over the years, our clients asked us to do more. They wanted beverages in the same order as their rice. They needed seasonal mangoes they could trust to arrive in condition. They were looking for an own-brand juice range with real margin. And they needed pulses, flours and oil from a supplier who understood the South Asian grocery category.

Our Journey
From Asian Fields to Italian and European Warehouses
Our journey began in the Basmati-growing regions of Pakistan and selected Asian areas. We spent our early years on the ground, visiting fields, mills and partners, learning which sources deliver the grain length, aroma and consistency that Italian and European buyers expect.
Step by step, we turned those relationships into a supply chain you can trust. We became a rice exporter in Italy known for stable 1121 Basmati and long grain rice, backed by structured quality checks and clear documentation.
As our network grew, our clients asked for more. They wanted PepsiCo beverages on the same trucks as their rice. They needed seasonal mangoes from trusted orchards. They were also interested in new drink concepts that could help them stand out in their local markets.
